Hugo Murata is a lawyer at Complete Legal, where he assists clients across estate planning, deceased estate administration, and conveyancing. His work often involves preparing Wills, Powers of Attorney, and Enduring Guardianship documents, as well as guiding clients through the administration of a loved one’s estate — from obtaining probate to liaising with banks and asset holders. Hugo also assists with property matters, helping clients through the process of buying or selling their home.

Background & Education

Hugo holds a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (Honours), along with a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law, and holds an Australian Practising Certificate. He’s also fluent in Japanese, having earned an N2 level in the Japanese Language Proficiency Test.

Outside the Office

Hugo enjoys reading, writing, and connecting with people — traits that naturally led him into law. Though understated about achievements, he brings consistency and a steady sense of purpose to his work every day, quietly helping others through big life moments.
